If you have difficulty reading classic formats, do not hesitate to use any of the aids available in the library.
You can borrow prescription glasses and on Laurinská and Kapucínska even special magnifying glasses, which make reading easier. With their help, you can bring the text significantly closer to you or, for example, display it in color contrast. The magnifying glasses can be used only on site.
In case of health issues, you can also choose from a number of useful aids, specially processed documents, board games and audio books provided by the Department for the Blind and Visually Impaired. These services are intended for anyone who has a problem reading classic-format books: apart from visually impaired people also, for example, readers after a stroke, with epilepsy, learning disabilities, dyslexia, or autism.
